Is bidit free for customers?
Yes. Posting a job and comparing bids costs nothing. You pay the bid you accept, and it stays in escrow until you confirm the work.
How do bids work?
You describe the job, then pick up to three local providers from their reviews and badges. Only those providers can bid. Compare price and timing, then accept one. Providers never see your budget, so it can't anchor their bids.
When is my money charged?
After you agree a date and both sign the contract, your payment goes into escrow. It is released to the provider only when you confirm the work is complete.
What if the work isn't right?
Ask for a fix from the job page. If you can't agree, open a dispute and bidit mediates. Refunds come straight from escrow.
Can providers see my budget or address?
Never your budget. Your street address is shared only after you both sign, and only with the provider you hired.
Do I need the app?
No. Everything works in the browser. The apps add push notifications and posting from your camera.
